Upcoming Thrift Store Volunteering dates for both Pittsboro and Cole Park Stores here.
Help the Chatham PTA Thrift Store repair and clean up on March 15 and 16, 2025
On Saturday, March 15, and Sunday, March 16, we will be coming together with other schools to get our beloved Pittsboro thrift store into shape. We need your help.
The Northwood High School community and the Northwood PTSA rely on the Chatham Thrift Store organization to support our activities and educational experience at Northwood. We volunteer and earn money for the school through the thrift stores, while helping make sure that the store runs well. They need our help on March 15-16 — please consider coming! Class of 2025 Senior Yard Signs!
The Northwood PTSA is partnering with Pittsboro Print Plus to offer customized yard signs to celebrate our seniors in the Pittsboro sign parade and/or in your own yard. Signs are 18” x 24” double-sided, customized with the senior’s name and photo of their choice, and cost $25 apiece if ordered by February 29th. Free signs are available to any students experiencing financial hardship, no questions asked. Order your signs by clicking the button below.

Thanks to the commitment to volunteering shared by our Northwood community, we earned $56, 650 from the PTA Thrift Store for the coming 2024- school year. This is the result of thousands of hours spent last year, by Northwood students, staff, parents, and community members, doing the hard work of keeping our PTA Thrift stores running and thriving. This money goes to fund dozens of student organizations, classroom projects, and ongoing school needs — from band supplies to hydroponic gardens to audiovisual equipment to funding student participation in state and national conferences. Let’s keep it up — volunteer today!
Claim YOUR club or team’s share of the money by volunteering at the PTA Thrift Shop! Students, parents, grandparents and community members can all earn thrift shop awards for Northwood Clubs and Teams.
